Brenda J Hall

The Lineage Trakker logo is such an appropriate one because, like the venerable bloodhound, company founder Brenda Hall is a proven genealogical tracker who stays on the trail.

She can boast of tracing one family to a patriarch living in first millennium Europe. Specifically, this particular quest took Brenda to 8th century Rhineland and a gentleman named Charlemagne. Brenda is no stranger to the place names of the distant past.

With nearly 30 years of experience in genealogical research, Brenda is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and can offer special insights on how interested persons can facilitate their own entry into both the DAR and Sons of the American Revolution (SAR).Picture of Colonel of Arrtillery Revolutionary War

She is a sought after public speaker on both research methodology and the subject of historic preservation, a concern close to Brenda’s heart.

One of Brenda’s proudest accomplishments is restoration of the Pine Bluff Community Theatre into a functioning film and stage center.

The beloved building is now on the National Registry of Historic Places. The theatre’s gala reopening was attended by stars from Hollywood’s golden years including Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., Fay Ray and Van Johnson.

A film producer in her own right, Brenda has been making documentary movies for more than 25 years with over one thousand titles to her shared credit with husband, Tony.

Brenda is also a licensed private investigator who has been researching living family for two decades.

Documentary and Biography

Brenda Hall is an accomplished documentary film producer and biographer. Her feature credits include “Freeman Owens, The Man Who Made Motion Pictures Talk” and “Of Time and River”.

She is currently writing an insightful biography which gives voice to film industry pioneer Freeman Owens, who brought to the early movie industry a host of innovations and inventions which revolutionized film making and, in fact, made motion pictures what they are today.

Brenda Hall augments her considerable genealogical research talent with a legally recognized private investigator license; thus enabling her to peer both into the past and the living present.
